The snow was not Just right.
Here is Jerry looking like he is going someplace! when in fact his back end is burried!
He aint goin' nowhere.
This is actually a "hole" off the side of the "trail" that both he and I fell off of. we were both pretty stuck!
After LOTS of hard work in the timber, The three of us ended up here at Walker Lake.
This is a great place to play, jumps and hills, big open areas. It is even more of a treat knowing how hard it is getting into this lake.
After a few turns on the lake, it has sorta become a tradition to climb this steep, difficult hill to set for a view, and check out our handywork in the snow.
After we made a royal mess of the snow from one end of the lake to the other, all the gang we met on the trail showed up. Followed our trail.
Poor folks!
We had a great time.
Then Sean and I felt obligated, since we made the trail in, and there was no way anyone could get out that way,
we figgured we should make a trail out the narrow canyon.
The timber is thick, the snow is deep, there are deep creeks and holes to be avoided, so photo opps. are a rare thing in deed!
