On the south hillsides, where the sun did not shine,
the snow was soft and deep,
we had to use caution to avoid getting in where we could not climb out!
Not so on the sunny side.
The snow was solid pack and you could really hook up!
Today was like riding dirt bikes. You could climb any face in the sun, and jump like there was no tommorrow.
(or more like you were HELPING there not to be a tommorrow!)
There was a hundred hills, and for every hill a new meadow, each like a private world all it's own, a park as it were, where nature is undefiled by man in any way.....
UNTIL US!
When we left a place, there was not a mound that did not have a track!
But do not fret, we always found another untouched meadow to abuse.
Here is Sean trying to beat me to the next cool spot.
what a place to play.
Logs, stumps, hills, creeks, banks and cliffs.
playing follow the leader in this stuff is as good as it gets!
And there is walker lake down there.
Which is a cool place all it's own,
Take a Walker Lake trip from the index to see it.
But for now, I'm putting the camera away and going to Make Tracks!
