Today the sun was shining and I was sleeping in late, It was Saturday.
Less than 45 minutes later I was at the Roadhouse, there were 5 of us and 4 sleds going.
I was awakened by the phone, trying to sound wide awake I was laughed at anyway, it was Jerry.
"Wan'a go for a ride? were leaving at 10:00". I said, "OK" and hung up.
My sled was buried under a mountain of junk, tools and rental furniture in my shop. I started digging.
Sean and Steven riding double, Jerry Lapp, Jeff Teal, and me,
The sun was up and it was proving to be a suntan day.
It wasn't long and we were at timberline on the Haines pass in Canada,
Here we are climbing away from the road on todays adventure!
Can you see the three sleds in the center?
Today we took the mountains to the right, the area is so big photos are hard to take.
We ended up on a glacier looking down into a bowl.
Here we are on top trying to see if this is a cliff or a slope.
It turned out to be a slope so off we go, down Past this avalanche.
and into the next narrow valley.
Here is Jerry at the face of another avelanche.
There were quite alot of them, as there usually is this time of year, something to be watchful of.
