We got to the top of a knob with a great view and had to stop to take a break,
this kind of work has to be talked about you know.
(I had to darken this photo to show the tracks, the snow was not dirty.)
Jeff with the great 2" paddle track was making good use of this face,
That's him coming back down in the center.
You can see the small slides he was making in his tracks. It was about there that I did my thing....
Some how I should have known this was coming.
It happened just like this the last time...with my previous sled.
Somebody making high marks and I couldn't leave well enough alone.
I think I must have hit the kill switch, I don't know.
There I was leaning way over the front of my machine to keep the front down and was doing fine....
then it just quit.
Not a good thing.
The snow was heavy so the sled rolled slowly, but not slowly enough.
After about two dozen roles the hood came loose and made a mess of things.
My beautiful sled was now just another ride gone bad!
So while I was digging snow out of my engin compartment, Sean and Jeff made good use of a nice drift.
