We ended up having a great time so we just kept going.
By the time we got to the first water crossing we were down to nine sleds and getting fewer.
Here is Lance doing the ...what is that called Lance?

The water was really no problem,
But the further we got up river the lighter the snow,
until I HAD to stay on someones track or I would drop to the bottom!

We ended up with 6 sleds that had all the fun.
With guys like Jeff and Curt comming from out of town, It was great.
We only went out about 20 miles but it was a workout,
and one has to turn around somewhere so we decided here would be as good as any.
a few of the guys jumped across and back, but this is where we turned back for home.

The trail back had enough sleds on it that it was easy going but the light was getting so that a guy couldn't see which made for a fun ride!

All in all it really was a very good seasons first ride, and we had a few new guys riding as well, what a way to break in a new rider!
