There is something cool about open water ponds in a winter world. with so much warm springs here one would think we would eventually find a hot one, but no luck so far.

On the way back this crossing has an abrupt gravel edge, Sean crosses, then finds a "more better" out.

Next we pass Duck Hess's tourist camp. He has quite the operation here. he brings folks up river in a river boat to experience the wilderness.
