My brother Trent and his son Trevor have been planning this trip down from Fairbanks for some time. They used to live here, so they are the rare ones who actually know what they have been missing! They couldn't wait to get back and do some real riding. For those of you unfamiliar with my short video titled "Arctic Catfish", it was about Trevor sinking his sled a few years ago. Thus, "Catfish II"!
	Today was the Anual Poker run so Sean didn't go on this ride, We decided we would make a run up the Kelsal to the headwaters of the Chilkat river. We should have used about 4 cases of silicone to calk Trevors tub, but he was here to ride so we headed out. Our first section of open river was not where I expected it, it was long and deep, but it was all I could do to talk Trevor out of trying it. We back tracked a little and found a small section of open water for some testing.
I didn't figure on this sort of testing. The poor guy was so ride depraved that he couldn't keep his wits about him and was going ride crazy. I've been there, you get a feeling of invincibility and joy that makes you do some crazy things! We hadn't been riding for 20 minuets but it looked like it was all over all ready.
	I guess there was alot of road grime, from the trip down, that needed to be washed off!
