About this time Trent decided I wasn't going to listen, about the need for a better light, and headed back out for a flashlight. I occupied myself waving the lighter close to things then pointing the camera at what looked cool to hope for a good shot.
These are the best of what I got.
Most were just, well, shot-in-the-dark so to speek.
Trent came back in no time and we went in quite a distance.
This is a shot of the floor where the water began. The original photo shows some very cool sparkles that got lost in the resizing.
The water got deep very fast, so I climbed a rubble pile to the right to see just how far the cave went.
I have always loved spelunking and this sort of thing gets me all excited. I would love to come back here with my dive gear to see about this. The shape of the cave promises some very interesting potential.

But for now, this is all we get, so we headed back out to finish the trip.
