I sure wasn't prepared for the next event, (funny how I never learn.) We were setting on top of this hill just watching Trevor working it, up and down. He finally got a good run in and had nearly made it, but we expected him to turn it down when he lost forward momentum. Instead he began a nose high side hill, not gaining much elevation but cutting over to a steeper part of the hill. It finally started down hill of it's own accord, skis pointed uphill, with Trevor in tow like a calf tosser beside a stubborn calf. He kept it upright for a good share of the steep part but she finally got enough footing to throw him and roled over him a number of times just for spite. Hood flying like a kite on a string, then being sucked back under for another revolution. I was laughing to hard to get the camera out until it was almost over! |
| It really did make for a spectacular grand finale. and I think even the sled had about all it was going to take of this kind of abuse, so it wacked him in the head to drive the point home! |
| I think it did too! like someone turned off a switch, Poor Trev was all done in finally. I was beginning to think he would never wear out! |
| It didn't take long and he was back in the saddle, a bit subdued but ready to ride! We agreed that we had about enough fun here, so we Pointed the sleds down hill. |
