Chuck in Nataga

Another gorgeous day in paradise, so of course paradise was a natural destination choice.
Sean and I take Chuck on his first trip into Nataga!

The river was very open, and Chuck hasn't got his webbed track yet, so we resorted to the dreaded trail.

The snow has been so hard there is no lubrication and the sleds overheat alot on the trail. Here we stopped at Bear Flats to cool down and enjoy the hot sun.
We rode the berms as much as possible in an effort to find some small amount of snow particles to cool the tracks. And with a good imagination you could think it was working, as long as you stopped to cool the track.
And after a few stops we arrived at nataga creek where Zack has recently finished a new bridge across the Chilkat river.

Then we began our gradual climb as the logging road took us parallel yet high above the river.
