....Until we come to the Upper Meadows.
These are the swamps that lead down into Walker Lake, but often this is the last stop, just short of the goal.
The creek that flows from here is very nearly always open, with impassable sides.
Recently we found another creek, hidden behind trees and nestled between steep hills.
This creek is the "Secret Trail" to a new meadow and trail through deep timber into Walker Lake.

I didn't say it was an easy trail!

Here Sean was trying to break trail and ended up in that age ol' condition... Stuck!
And boy was he in deep this time!

But with a wee bit of help from all the guys, he broke through and we all could enjoy once again a new road through a wonderful place.
