Sled Repairs

Summer

Ok so after the ungraceful manuver of April 15, I jumped on my bent shock, welded a bit on my trailing arm, gave the ski a good panty twisting, and got back on the trail for a few more rides before summer hit.
Funny, it took almost 2 weeks before I knew that I had broke a rib, but work just made things worse and worse until I had to go see the doc.
He just shook his head.
I knew that the trailing arm mount was gonna come unglued soon, but I also knew what kinda job that was goning to be, so I put it off as long as I could.
Well, it came unglued on the way back from my last trip to Nataga.
So now the work begins...

I knew I was going to have to pull the tub, foot sheild, and chain case,
but the further into it I got the deeper I had to plunge.

I tried real hard to remove as little as possible, but that was just not possible, pretty much everything but the actual engine had to come off. But this is the critter that the whole sled seems to be built around.

I know this looks wrecked but it aint,
so now I get to start putting it back together, having pulled the mount from the other tunnel I had destroyed last year.
a bit of hammering and I had one that would work.
the rest of this is old stuff you saw last year so I will end this now. I am having my shocks re-charged, replace bearings in my suspension and stuff like that as I go.

So she will be ready for the coming winter!
